Medoodle - the international medical network and community

Medoodle has just recently opened a new "Radiology Museum". This museum displays radiological items from multiple categories displaying radiological items of historic value as well as from the presence. Categories include:

• Radiology Art - This category displays artistic work in Radiology
• Radiology Curiosities & Interesting Images - This category displays curiosities in Radiology and interesting images otherwise
• Collectables of historical interests - This category displays historical images and historical figures
• Radiology Equipment & Accessories - This category displays radiological equipment and accessories
• Objects in Radiology - This category displays objects in Radiology such as radiographic pictures of things of daily life (toys, food, furniture etc.)
• People in Radiology - Famous people in Radiology or individuals who significantly influenced Radiology
• and others

We invite everybody to visit the museum (click here) and also to submit images which enrich this unique collection. Do you have any images of Radiology items (devices, equipment, historical images, documentations of famous radiologists or people who significantly influenced Radiology)? Then we encourage you to submit your items to the Radiology Museum!

A quick guide:

After you entered the Radiology Museum, you will see three main buttons at the top (below the banner):

1. Museum - This is the link to the museum frontpage showing the latest albums, most recent uploaded images, tags etc. This site offers also to browse through the entire catalogue by categories, albums and photos
2. Categories - shows you the list of all categories and how many albums are included
3. Albums - displays all existing albums
4. Below the main buttons are 2 links to your personal albums and favorites

How do I upload photos?

1. First you have to create an album by going on Your Albums" and then on "Create New Album"
2. Give your album a name and description and choose the category it fits under.
3. You may also define if only registered users are allowed to view your images or the entire public
4. Click on "Add"                                                                                                                                            
5. You will then see a thumbnail of your album with several buttons to edit or delete the album and to add photos (see red arrows).                                                                                           
6. Click on "Add Photos"
7. You can upload as many photos as you wish. If you want to upload more than 3 images at once, please click on the "Add more photos" button as often as necessary.
8. Browse on your computer for the photos and then hit "Upload". Later on, you may upload more images to the same album.                                                                       
9. On the next page (or when you click on "Edit Album") you may assign a title, caption and tags to the image. You may even move it from one album to another album of yours.                                  
10. To set a photo as cover for the album, please mark the appropriate checkbox.                                                         

That's it!

More features

You may also add selected images to your favorites by clicking on the "Add to favorites" button.

You may rate the picture by assigning stars to it. the more stars you give, the higher you rate it.

A "Social links" row offers you to bookmark and share the link to the photo within other social networks.

You may also comment on each photo. Let the author know what you think about this item and if you have anything to add!
